IELTS Writing Task 2 - Sports help to build peace in the world. Agree or disagree

Some people assert that sports help to a great extent to build peace in the world. Do you agree or disagree?

In the world, where hatred, terrorism and war have become rife, sports have emerged as a peacemaker as it spread the message of sportsmanship and brotherhood.

Sports are known to unite the world. In sports competition, people of distant race, caste, creed, beliefs and nationalities participate compete with each other, give rise to equality. This is commonly seen in the “ Olympics”, there people of various countries participate and face each other but in a friendly manner. Moreover, sportsmanship teaches them to live in harmony as they get to know about other people's behavior, language and culture. Prejudiced view for a section of society changes after knowing folks as it is better to meet people and then judge their opinion rather than simply drawing a conclusion.

To illustrate aforementioned view, an example of India and Pakistan is sufficient. World know they are die heart enemies of each other. But in cricket field, different picture is witnessed every time, a Pakistani was singing India's national anthem. Further, hatred doesn't prevail in the hearts of common man, it is all due to the politicians, who deceive others for their benefits. When, the sports lover visit other country for watching competition, they get to know about real picture of the country. Their illusion fades away and fill them with love for others.

All in all, sports inculcate the good qualities in the person and make them ambassador of peace who believes in humanity, unity, equality and brotherhood. Most healthy competitions should be organised to Foster these qualities in the world.

IELTS Writing Task 2 - Working from home benefit only the employee not the employers. Agree or Disagree

Many people work from home using modern technology. Some people think that only the workers benefits from this and not the employers. Do you agree or disagree?

Telecommuting is becoming popular these days mostly because of the modern gizmos. These gadgets find the new technology how made the earth a global village giving rise to easy communication and business deals. Today, many employees prefer to work from home and a section of society opine that this is beneficial for workers not the employers. But, this is benefiting both along with few drawbacks.

Rolling the ball with benefits to employees. An employee generally spend an hour or more in travelling to the office 9 to 10 hours in office. In this hustle, they somewhere overlook their personal life. Work from home gives them an opportunity to balance their personal and professional life. As the travelling time can be spent with family or in other social activities. Moreover, children get time of their busy and professional parents. This time brings a family close making them a close knitted family. Further, worker gets flexible working hours giving rise to stress free life. This leads to more productivity and healthy life. As an employee is working from home and conversating mostly with emails and calls, get confidence to talk with people face to face with lessen but this is not an acute problem. Regular in personal meetings in office help to cut this dis disadvantage.

Moving onto the advantages to employers. Pleasant working environment has become a demand of each worker. This means a hefty amount of money is to be spent on infrastructure. But, this work from home saves the expenditure of employers as they only need to provide equipments to employees not other facilities. In addition to this, employers can hire experienced professionals from around the globe experience would definitely bear fruitful results as different minds have different ideas to maximize production and increase profit. This policy can also give rise to miscommunication but for a strong and expert management, handling a large and diverse team is a cakewalk.

Contemplating the aforementioned views, I would like to say that telecommuting is advantageous for an employee and an employer. win-win situation give freedom and productivity to both as they get bit of both world, professional and personal.

IELTS WRITING TASK 2 - Less communication between family members is less in this time period as compared to the past time

It is observed that communication between family members in today's time is less as compared to the past. However, some people do not think so. Do you agree or disagree?

The technological era has bestowed people with high-tech gizmos to communicate and to remain in touch of kith and kins, living near or far away from them. But the over indulgence of people in this gadgets have made them isolated leading to less interaction with family members. Not only this is the cause, there are many other factors that are decreasing the conversation between family members.

In yester years, people work intent in their life and were satisfied with their available resources. But today people have become green-eyed monsters who are ready to live a slavery life to have whole nine yards. In this race to acquire everything, they remain busy and half replaced their family time with the office time. Along with money, status is very prominent in today's elite societies. To maintain it, elders of the family attend social functions more than their kids school functions and substitute their absence by giving mobile phones and other gadgets to their children.

Further, kids today are highly ambitious. They want to leave a mark in society and the world. Their this desire is fulfilled by devoting more time to particular activity find their this habit isolates them firstly for their near ones and make them introvert eventually. Finally, commonly known that every new generation think, they are better than the last, because of this, generation gap is never ending phenomenon. Due to this gap, it is difficult to see eye to eye on a topic and fights take place due to differences. For instance, in India, till last year, it was very difficult for children to confront parents and tell them about their liking for same gender. This was because the orthodox thinking of parents. So, this thinking gap makes either of them numb.

Contemplating my aforementioned views, I would like to conclude that technology has given us devices to ease our life not to drag us away from our family. It's upto us, rather than giving excuse of less time or no time to family members, people should try to plan their schedule in such a way that they can easily manage their personal and professional life.

Writing task 2 - Public transport free of charge

Some people argue that public transport should be made completely free of charge. Are there more advantages over disadvantages of this decision?

Answer:

Public transport id like the life line in the big cities across the world. Authorities expend hefty amount of money in the development and maintenance of public transport system. Since, it has wider reach, some argue that it should be made free for all. This suggestion will bore more disadvantages than a few advantages.

Firstly, free things are exploited faster the natural resources. People's attitude towards free transportation will become a reason of dirty and damaged buses and other modes of transports. Moreover, this leads to over crowded vehicles that can suffocate many. Like, it is commonly seen, whenever government of India started a free train to some pilgrimages, passengers were seen hanging from the trains, putting their life in danger and leaves littered transport behind.

Government need money to run a nation and to provide facilities to each and every citizen. Ticket amount helps in this work. The money collected from this, is spent on the construction of roads, railway tracks and many other developmental works. Not only this, free public transport will shut many businesses. There are man who have owned taxi business and have employed number of people/ The free transport system will collapse this business as people will prefer free services more than the paid ones.

However, this system will lessen the number of private vehicles on the road but as public transport has many stoppages in the routes, the person can be late which is unacceptable in today's fast paced life. Further, free system will somewhere benefit the poor community of a nation.

All in all, disadvantages of free public transport overweight its advantages. Government should not make the transport free of cost but can charge a small amount of money to balance its developmental works and to handle the other financial problems.

Dear Sir
I am writing this to request you to extend my stay in the USA. You will be happy to know that I have passed with flying colors in all my test and got appreciations from my tutors and team.
During my training, I have learnt to control electronic devices with the smart phone. This would  be helpful in our new smart home project and many more related projects. The best part of this training is the first hand experience. This, I got by working with latest electronic devices and by instructing these with my own developed codes and libraries.
However, I could not complete the full course of 20 days due to Christmas holidays. This is the reason, I need your permission to overstay and complete my training to get a certificate that would be provided only after the completion of full course. I assure you sir, my extended stay would enrich my technical knowledge to enhance the possibilities to touch new heights in the future projects.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
