  • say what action you would like the landlord to take

Dear ..........,
Answer:
Dear Sir,
I am one of your tenant who has recently shifted to your 141, New Heights apartment. I am writing this epistle to draw your attention towards the house furniture that needs immediate repair or replacement.
Dinning table which is kept in the kitchen has four chairs but unfortunately, we can only use two as the other two chairs' legs are infested by termites and these can break at any time. The termites are spreading and will soon damage other wooden furniture. The glass top of the center table is also cracked. You know I have two toddlers in my house. I always try to keep them away from the table so that they do not harm themselves while playing around the fragile glass top.
I request you to replace the chairs and make appointment with the pest control service company so that the spread can be stopped. Also, replace the glass top as soon as possible to make it a secure place for toddlers. Waiting for your quick response and action.
Yours sincerely

Ielts Writing task 2: Most employers do job interviews before offering a position to a person. Do you think this is the best way to do it, or are there better alternatives? What is the best method of choosing employees in your opinion?

Answer:

Today, companies are following shark eating shark culture and want to acquire everything by letting down other companies in the business world. Reaching at pinnacle is possible with the intelligent and skillful employees who are recruited after multiple tests and interviews. For a section of society, interview is the best way to hire a person but for me, there are many other ways that can help to check the ability of an applicant with the interview.

Interviews help to judge the personality of a person whether it is telephonic interview or in-house interview, the interviewer ask some questions from the candidate and answers of these give an insight of a person and help to know the mentality and thinking ability. Moreover, face to face interviews help to check the confidence which is required in this competitive era. If a person is confident, he can represent his company at any platform. Some organisations also conduct technical interviews. These type of interviews are required there field related knowledge is required. For instance, a program developer needs to have knowledge of different programming languages to develop programs while charted accountant must know about balance sheets.

At the same time, there are some other useful selection ways. Like, written test. Some jobs require a person to enter data in the computer. In these types of jobs, interview alone is not sufficient but can be beneficial if conducted with written test. Another way of hiring a person is physical examination. Defense jobs require physical stamina of a person. So, in these kinds of jobs, the endurance of the person is measured.

All in all, in some cases interviews work and in other cases, other ability tests are important. As, we cannot wholly or solely favor single test but can favor the combination of the tests to hire perfect candidate for a designation in an organisation.

Your friend is thinking about learning to drive and would like some advice.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
-Say why a driving license is advantageous
-Recommend a driving school
-Give any extra guidance/tips

Dear John

How are you? I am hale and hearty and hoping that you are sailing in the same boat. I have recently received your message, where you have mentioned your desire to learn driving. It is very good that you want to learn something new.

Driving license is very useful at many places. This will become your identity and you can go anywhere in your own car after acquiring it. It is not only useful in our country but in other nations as well.

You know, I have learnt driving last year from Lovely Driving School. They offer courses of different duration and you can choose your time and car. I would highly recommend this school to you because of their simple teaching techniques and expert driers.

There are some things that you need to keep in mind while driving car. But, the important one is related to speed, always keep your speed in control never drive it fast just to have fun. Other than this, check the fuel level before taking your car on road.

Hope you will have a wonderful learning experience. Wishing you all the best. Hopefully you will drive the car, when we go out next time.

Yours truly

ielts academic report writing diagram shows stages in the development of cooking equipment
Answer:

The diagram delineates the development of a cooking equipment in three distinct stages.
The equipment transformed a lot in the given stages. In the initial stage, a pot was balanced on the stones and wooden sticks were used as a source of fuel. The stones and source of fire were later placed in the shield made up of clay. This was done to protect the fire from the wind. The shield had an opening on one side from where twigs were inserted in the shield.
Finally, the equipment underwent a drastic change. In the stage 'C', it has charcoal as a fuel instead of wood. Charcoal is kept on the grate an its residue is collected in the base of the equipment which is made up of metal. Base has a door which is meant for the inlet of air and disposal of ashes. As the equipment is made up of metal, the inner walls of upper part are lined with air. It has supporters for the cooking pot and handles to easily transport the equipment.
