The horizontal bar graph reveals the count of fishermen in three years in fie continents and the table depicts the top ten fish exporters in the globe in the year 2000.
It is clear that there was no competition of Asia in the terms of fishers as it had nine million, thirteen million and 24 million fishers in the years 1970, 1980 and 2000 respectively. Probing to others figures, Africa had 1.2 million in the year 1970 this surged to two million in next ten years and was stagnant for the year 2000. South America, on the other hand had same number of fishers in three years ,that is, 1.2 millions. The fishermen owned by North America was 0.5 million in 1970. A surge was witnessed in 1980 to 1.2 million, this unchanged till 2000.
In Europe, fishers fluctuated between 0.2 million and 0.1 million. Turning to table, it is clear that Thailand ruled the word of fish exporting whereas, South Korea was at the last place of the league. Norway and USA bagged second and third position severally. The fifth position was occupied by Denmark which was behind China and was followed by Canada. Japan bagged seventh while eight and nine place was of Russia and Indonesia.
Overall, Asia had more fishes than rest of the regions and Thailand was top exporter.
