IELTS Writing Task 1 General Training Letter to friend who is thinking to learn driving
Your friend is thinking about learning to drive and would like some advice.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
-Say why a driving license is advantageous
-Recommend a driving school
-Give any extra guidance/tips
Dear John
How are you? I am hale and hearty and hoping that you are sailing in the same boat. I have recently received your message, where you have mentioned your desire to learn driving. It is very good that you want to learn something new.
Driving license is very useful at many places. This will become your identity and you can go anywhere in your own car after acquiring it. It is not only useful in our country but in other nations as well.
You know, I have learnt driving last year from Lovely Driving School. They offer courses of different duration and you can choose your time and car. I would highly recommend this school to you because of their simple teaching techniques and expert driers.
There are some things that you need to keep in mind while driving car. But, the important one is related to speed, always keep your speed in control never drive it fast just to have fun. Other than this, check the fuel level before taking your car on road.
Hope you will have a wonderful learning experience. Wishing you all the best. Hopefully you will drive the car, when we go out next time.
Yours truly

IELTS Writing Task 1 General Training Letter to friend who is about to celebrate a landmark birthday
Your friend is about to celebrate a landmark birthday and would welcome suggestions as to how it should be celebrated.Write a letter to your friend
-say what type of party should be held example themed, fancy dress, black tie event
-suggest a suitable venue
-make recommendations as to entertainment eg. DJ, jazz band etcetera
Answer:
Dear John How are you? I am hale and hearty and want to find you in same as you are going to celebrate you 21st birthday in few weeks. I am really ecstatic as we will meet again after a long gap to celebrate your birthday.
Your birthday which is going to fall in the second weekend of the November will be a gala event. As you are an ardent follower of superheroes keeping a super heroes theme will be irresistible. We will send e-invitations to all the people and ask them to follow the theme. After selecting theme, we have to decide a venue and menu. As I know your budget, I recommend you to organize the party at your house. We can decorate your backyard with posters and arrange chairs and tables. As you have a big property, 50-100 people can be easily accommodated and you can server freshly grilled food.
We can think about some games that we can play during your birthday party like dumb charades, super heroes quiz, best dressed person. Finally, to entertain the guests, you can book DJ Jazz, they are the one that I have booked or my birthday. You were very impressed by their sound selection and music mix. Hope you will consider my suggestions in the final call. Feel free to call me at anytime if you need any suggestion, I will be all ears always.
Yours truly
Amanpreet
