Dear Grey

Hello! Hope you are doing well and sailing in the same boat as I am. In you last letter, you have expressed your dissatisfaction and warned me to keep you updated with my life since I haven't told you about my new job. So here, this is for you.

I have recently joined a new company. You know, where I was previously working was not proper IT company as their core was Embedded Technologies. This became my reason of switching from there.

Now, I am working in proper IT company in five star hotel "Radisson". Here, I have freedom to explore my field. I am handling a module of a big project and this will be launched firstly in the UK then in other countries. These days, we are wrapping up everything as deadline is near and testing team is putting all the efforts to find bugs in our apps. Hopefully, our well oiled machine will turn this project to a big success. Rest, nothing other than job is happening in my life as this has become my front burner.
Hope this letter will satisfy you and I promise to write you fortnight to keep you up-to-date with my life. Pay my regards to dear aunt and uncle.

Yours truly

IELTS Writing Task 1: Flow Chart: Paper Recycling

The flow chart below shows the process of waste paper recycling.

writing task 1 report waste paper recycling in six steps

The flow chart delineates the six steps that are performed to recycle the waste paper.

The process begins with the collections of waste paper. Papers are collected from different places some are public paper banks and businesses. The next step involves the segregation of paper by hand in this, paper is graded and the papers that are unsuitable for recycling process are discarded. Approved and graded papers are sent to paper mills for further treatment in the step known as "transportation".

In the paper mills, waste papers are cleaned, pulp is made out of it along with this the unnecessary materials such as staples are removed from it. To manufacture paper in second last step, the last ink impressions and glues are removed and this process is termed as "de-inking". In the final step, the cleaned paper is finally passed to a paper making machine to produce the usable paper.

Ielts writing task 2: People get information through news and paper but meanwhile are uncertain about the truth of these news

Question: Nowadays, people get information through news and papers but meanwhile are uncertain about the truth of these news. Should we believe the journalist? What qualities should be a good journalist or correspondent have?

Answer:

News help us to remain up-to-date with the world and these are received from various modes a few are television, radio and internet. In this technological era, a piece of information spreads like a wildfire that people have become skeptical, and this human nature is giving rise to a moot question of trusting the journalist or not.

A journalist who is responsible for showing the true picture of the society is not free from the blot. A news reader can be misguided by the false or exaggerated news given by a journalist. Moreover, in this materialistic era, people want the whole nine yards and this greed can be fulfilled only with money. Money which is given in excess to journalist who praise and show only the positive sides of a particular political party. Simply, they become puppets of the parties and try to create a white collar image of them. So, people should not blindly believe on the news but should analyse and understands news from different facets to extract the actual matter as today's journalist are famous for making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Journalism is not everyone's cup of tea. There are many challenges in this field. A person who wants to be a journalist needs to be brave to overcome these obstacles as people bribe them to change their news and to make them speakers of the party. A reporter should be unbiased to portray the actual picture of the person or the situation. People are introduced to different topics by the journalist so a journalist should be well versed with myriad topics and even if he does not know about something then he should have the curiosity to learn different things. Above all, command over language is needed as an orator who can convey properly can touch a millions of heart and make his point crystal clear in the receiver's mind.

Contemplating all the aforementioned points, I would like to say that journalist should work with dignity and be loyal to their profession as their news have a profound effect on people's mind and they are playing an important part in shaping the society we live in.

Tips: Journalism is the fourth pillar of the successful democracy. The other three being the legislature, executive and the judiciary.
A journalist, like the judge, like an umpire must be unbiased and totally impartial to any group.

Ielts general letter writing: Letter to neighbour

Question: Write a letter to your neighbor. In your letter:- Describe the problem - Say how long it has been a problem- Explain what action you want the neighbor to take.

Answer:

Dear Sir

I am writing you to complaint about the nuisance caused by your new paying guest.

Your last tenants were quiet persons but these new ones are notorious and are pranksters. Everyday, they find a new way to disturb the peace of society and this is happening from the day one of their shift. Last day, they crossed every limit and were shouting at night after getting drunk. Not only this, they threw their empty cans in our garden.

Sir, I would request you to look in this matter immediately as it is difficult to overlook their activities everyday. You can change your tenants or give them a strict warning that their next disturbing activity will leave them homeless.

Hope you will take action on it at the drop of the hat.

Your sincerely

Amanpreet
