The diagram below shows the typical stages of consumer goods manufacturing, including the process by which information is fed back to earlier stages to enable adjustment.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the process shown.

The diagram depicts the steps involved in the manufacturing of customer products along with the feedback that helps to make changes in the previous stages.
The process begins with the collection of manufacturing components and raw material in the storage. While, in another process, research on product helps to design it and this is sent to production planning which becomes the second step in manufacturing process. Production planning sends feedback to the storage. Planning is followed by assembly, inspection and testing of goods. While, testing sends feedback to the design which also gets feedback from sales ,that is, last step in the procedure conducted after the packaging and despatching of the customer products.
The feedback collected from the sales of the goods is forwarded to the production planning and market research. Likewise, changes in the advertising and packaging, depends upon the market research. The design is also modified after getting reviews from the same.

IELTS WRITING TASK 2 AIR TRAVEL IS RESPONSIBLE FOR A LOT OF POLLUTION IN OUR ENVIRONEMENT.SOME PEOPLE THINK THAT PRICES OF AEROPLANE TICKETS SHOULD BE INCREASED IN ORDER TO REDUCE AIR TRAFFIC?

IELTS Writing Task 2 essay

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task. Write about the following topic

Air traffic is increasingly leading to more noise, pollution, and airport construction. One reason for this is the growth in low-cost passenger flights, often to holiday destinations. Some people say that government should try to reduce air traffic by taxing it more heavily. Do you agree or disagree?

Advancement in technology has gifted mankind different modes of travelling. Air transportation is one of these transport which is gaining popularity as companies are giving discounts to increase their profits but this in turns is giving birth to other problem. To curb these problems, imposing heavy tax on air ticket is a suggested solution which for me is not an apt solution.

To bolster my view, I would like to say that increased tax will no doubt decrease demand but it will directly  affect the income of people who work as guide for tourist. Affordable tickets will help to attract people to particular place and this will help in development of a region. As money earned through tourism will be useful to construct other needed building like schools, colleges, suvidha centers etcetera. This is only way of travelling that takes less time of a wayfarer. Exampli gratia, train takes six hours to cover distance between Amritsar and Delhi but for the same distance plane only takes one and half hour. In this way, it is helpful in the time of emergencies.

Further strengthening my views, this is very useful for the businessmen as they have to travel frequently for their business and to grab deals. So increased tax will be an additional burden on them as they cannot avoid tours. This demonstrates that this is not the ultimate solution proposed by citizens. Moreover, in the era of inflation people are already paying many taxes to government like house tax, income tax so one more tax will hike their problems as this will make import and export expensive which in turn surge prices of basic things eventually disturb their house budgets. Lastly, low tickets give chance to individuals of all income to enjoy life by taking a break from their monotonous life.

At the tip of iceberg, imposing high penalty tax on air tickets is not an ultimate solution for the reduction in pollution, it will lead to use of other alternatives as travelling is pivotal part of individuals' life. Instead of doing this, government should spend money on improving the techniques used in air crafts that helps to minimize pollution.

Ielts Writing task 1(Academic) :- The charts below shows the distribution of the world's water and the use of water in three countries.

Answer:-

The pie charts show the distribution of global water and the bar graph depicts the percentage consumption of water in three countries in three distinct fields.

The first pie chart makes it clear that 97% of world water is salty and proportion of fresh water is only three. Most of fresh water is present in the glaciers and  in the form of ice(97%). Fourth part of water is beneath the ground and just a percent is on the surface.

Probing further to the vertical bar graph, here, similar trend in water usage for irrigation purposes is seen in Egypt and Saudi Arabia as both use near to three quarter water in their fields. While, Canada utilized only ten percent. Percentage of water used for household works was approximately eleven percent in all regions. A significant difference is witnessed in industrial field. Canada lead in this, by using 80% water and corresponding percentage for Egypt and Saudi Arabia is eight and ten.

Thus, salt water is present more than fresh which is less at surface and more in glaciers. After analyzing water usage, it becomes clear that Egypt and Saudi Arabia are agriculture based economies and the last one is industrial based nation.
